The beginning...

Once upon a time, there was a little girl with dark brown curls and bright, blue-green eyes. She grew up riding a tractor with her papaw  and reading stories with a flashlight after her bedtime. This little girl had a heart full of emotion. Her passion in feeling made her devotion fierce and her pain excruciating. Somewhere along the way, amidst the confusion of adolescence and the trials of adulthood, she lost the freedom to let herself feel. Journeying to unearth the secrets hidden from herself, she summoned all she'd held onto. Hope.  And she decided she would, so she did.
